D.C. Criminal Code § 209

Offense Class F (1)Any person who possesses a firearm or lethal weapon that is specified by law to be illegal or purchased from a dealer within the map instead of via a business, shop or the gun store, shall be guilty of possession of unlawful instruments and weapons. (2)Possession of unlawful instruments and weapons shall also be the act of possessing an item which is outlawed and deemed criminal by existing law. (3)This shall be a Class F Offense.
