D.C. Criminal Code § 308

(1)Any person who intends to inflict great bodily harm on another with a firearm or any equivalent deadly weapon or by any force or means likely to produce great bodily harm or death to another or; causes serious physical injury inflicted on a person by the deliberate action of another player or; rams a vehicle or aircraft into another player purposefully to trap or prohibit their movement, shall be guilty of assault. (2)This shall be a Class C Offense.
