D.C. Criminal Code § 403

(1)Any person who wilfully and maliciously damages, or otherwise destroys another's property shall be guilty of Destruction of personal property. (2)Any person who wilfully destroys, causing harm or damages one's own property or another's, for the purposes of later committing criminal offenses with those modifications, shall be guilty of Destruction of personal property. (3)This shall be a Class F Offense.
