ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A CRIMINAL OFFENSE

Federalized D.C. Criminal Code (Public Law 36-260 § 10(b))Class DChapter 5: FISCAL, TRAFFIC AND CHARACTER CRIMES.

(1)Any person who knowingly takes steps towards the commission of an offense that has been criminalised and is unlawful at the time of such attempt, shall be guilty of attempting to commit a crime. (2)This shall be a Class D Offense.
