(1)Any person who proceeds with the wrongful institution of criminal proceedings against another person without reasonable grounds and/or uses their prosecutorial office for their own personal or pecuniary gain, or the personal and pecuniary gain of another, shall be guilty of Malicious prosecution. (2)This shall be a Class A offense.
