United States Courts
This is the public information and legal-resource website of the USAR federal judiciary. It provides access to current proceedings, structured case records, court rules, forms and templates, case law, locally archived opinions, and public judicial records.
The Federal Judiciary
The USAR federal judiciary consists principally of the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States District Court. It does not include an intermediate Court of Appeals.
Highest court
Supreme Court of the United States
The Supreme Court is the highest court of the United States. It exercises the jurisdiction provided by the USAR Constitution, federal law, and the Rules of the Supreme Court. Appeals from the United States District Court proceed directly to the Supreme Court where permitted.
Federal trial court
United States District Court
The District Court hears federal criminal prosecutions, civil actions, and other matters within its jurisdiction. Current proceedings and structured public case records are available through separate docket and case-search services.

- The Court Rules directory keeps Rules of Procedure and Codes of Conduct distinct while making both collections easy to browse.
- Forms & Templates
- The Forms & Templates library contains reusable filing resources. It is separate from documents actually filed in court cases.
- Case Law & Opinions
- Case Law searches the CourtListener Supreme Court index, while the USAR Opinions & Orders archive exposes locally preserved court decisions and order lists.
- Federal Law
- The related United States Code Library provides searchable federal statutory law.
How Court Information Is Published
Current Dockets
Current Supreme Court and District Court docket displays are synchronized from the courts' public working records and remain separate from the structured JIS case database.
Structured Case Records
Case Search, Filed Document Search, Judges, and public arrest or conviction records use allowlisted public projections from the Judicial Information System. A charge, arrest, filing, and conviction are treated as distinct legal records.
Site Search
The masthead search finds pages, hosted rules and conduct provisions, reusable forms, and locally archived opinion filenames. It does not replace the dedicated JIS case, filing, or person-record search tools.
Maintenance
This website represents the United States Courts. The National Archives and Records Administration maintains and hosts the public website and its associated legal-information infrastructure for the judiciary.
